Our Wild Oolong undergoes a meticulous, fully hand-crafted process that includes:
1. Handpicking from ancient wild tea trees
2. Withering on bamboo trays
3. Gentle shaking to enhance oxidation
4. Pan-frying and hand-rolling for structure
5. Charcoal-fire drying to lock in flavor
This artisanal method ensures the tea retains maximum nutrients, flavor depth, and a distinct mouthfeel.
The tea feels fresh and lively on the palate, with a smooth texture and a slightly sweet finish. It exhibits a mild level of astringency (depending on the leaf-to-water ratio), which fades quickly, leaving a clean aftertaste.
Expect a delicate floral aroma layered with subtle hints of woodiness and earthiness. The flavor carries a comforting nutty and toasty profile, finished with a sweet, mellow tone that lingers softly.
The tea brews into a clear, light golden, signaling high purity and minimal processing. Each infusion delivers a harmonious blend of floral, nutty, and earthy notes with soothing clarity.
